Group Exercise

Registration Procedures

The Group Exercise program works through a pass system.  The pass is purchased in addition to your membership.

Registration:

  1. Visit either Center's main Customer Service Desk.
  2. Complete the appropriate forms and paperwork.
  3. Purchase class pass.
  4. Collect and save receipt, this is your proof of purchase.
  5. Take ANY class on the Group Exercise schedule within the dates listed on your pass.

 

Participation:

  1. Present photo ID & trial class pass receipt or group exercise pass at "group exercise check-in" location (DuPont Customer Service Desk at Zesiger Center; Main Customer Service Desk at Wang Fitness Center).
  2. Request a ticket for desired class (no more than 30 minutes before start time). Tickets are handed out on a first come-first serve basis observing group size limits.
  3. Present ticket to group exercise instructor in order to enter classroom.
  4. Late arrivals may not enter after the warm-up has been completed.
  5. Participation is not permitted without a ticket for the desired class.

 Refunds/Cancellation/Credits:
Group Classes: Full refunds will be given to participants registered for a class that is cancelled and to those who withdraw from a class eight or more days before the scheduled start date. Participants who withdraw within one week of the scheduled start date will be eligible for a 50 percent refund. No refund will be given to persons who withdraw from courses within one day of or after the scheduled start date.

Group Exercise Trial Class Policy:
Patrons may purchase a group exercise trial pass for $10 for one class offered on one day. Trial passes may be purchased for any group exercise class (as shown on schedule). Patrons that purchase a trial pass and decide to upgrade to a full Group Exercise Pass may have the price of the trial pass credited to their purchase within the same session with valid receipts. Non-members must also purchase a day pass.

Free Drop In Classes - Noon Classes Only June 30-July 5th
Members do not need a group exercise pass to participate in the following classes:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Body sculpt in the Tclub
from 12pm-1pm
Tuesday, Thursday
Cardio Combo in the Wang Fitness Center
from 12pm-1pm

Non-members must purchase a day pass. Participation procedures and class limits apply.

Session I: May 19-June 28 Cost: $75 Barcode: 1601
 
Session II: July 7 - Aug 16

Session I & II: May 19 - Aug 16 Cost: $135 Barcode: 1603


PE Points Option:

  1. 440 total minutes of group exercise activity must be completed. This may be done by attending 440 minutes of any group exercise class included in the group exercise pass.
  2. Participants interested in earning PE points must fill out a PE FORM that is kept at the group exercise check-in desk.
  3. The PE form is an index card to record information including the date, class length, and instructor signature for each class attended.
  4. Pick up your PE form from the check-in desk when you pick up the class ticket.
  5. Present PE points form to instructor for signature upon completion of each class. Participation for entire class length for that day is required for a signature.
  6. Return PE form to the check-in desk after class. You may keep a PE form at both the Zesiger Center & the Wang Fitness Center.
  7. At the end of the quarter, submit completed PE forms to the Fitness Director, W35-366.
