SUMMER 2013 AMERICAN RED CROSS SCHEDULE

 

ALL AMERICAN RED CROSS CLASSES WILL NOW REQUIRE

EARLY REGISTRATION AND ONLINE PREREQUISITES.

 

We are proud to announce the NEW American Red Cross Blended Learning Program! Students can now can combine online learning with condensed classroom time. Click the link below to read all about our new Blended Learning Program!

**Class will consist of an ONLINE PREREQUISITE and condensed classroom portion. All students are required to register within ONE WEEK of the class start date, and will be paying SEPARATELY for the class and the certifications.**

First Aid:

Learn the skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses. This course does NOT include information on breathing or cardiac emergencies. After successful completion, students will receive the American Red Cross First Aid certification which is valid for 2 years.

 

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer / Health Care Provider:
Learn the skills professional rescuers use to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies. This class includes instruction in rescue breathing, obstructed airway, CPR for adults, children, and infants. Two person CPR, bag-valve mask, and AED . Class fee includes the participant manual and pocket mask. After successful completion of this course, participants will receive an American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification that is valid for 2 years.

 

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer Review:

Due to changes in American Red Cross materials, the CPR Review course will NOT be offered this season.

The course allows those who are already certified in CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer to renew their certification. The course will begin with a review of all material and then finish with a skills check and written exam. After successful completion of the class, students receive CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification valid for 2 years. Participants need to bring their own pocket mask and valid certification to class. Participants will be supplied with an updated textbook. Minimum registration of 6 and maximum of 9. Pocket masks are available for purchase from our Proshop for the cost of $15.
