Orientation

Come learn more about us! Registration is free. Simply come by the Zesiger main member services desk (the desk in front of the ice rink and Au Bon Pain) and we'll show you what we have to offer! Where is the locker room? Which diving boards can I use? What are the pool hours? These questions, and many more, will be answered during an orientation. Some other topics that will be covered will include:

• Locker room amenities
• 50 meter pool features
• Lap swim etiquette and policies
• Diving area
• Scoreboard
• Emergency equipment and response

Assessment

The aquatic assessment is an evaluation of different swimming skills, including, but not limited to: front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, flip-turns, and starts. Each skill will be evaluated in the following areas:

• Technique
• Endurance
• Speed
• Breath control

Participants will receive a post assessment consultation. Registration is $12. An Aquatic and Fitness Orientations & Assessments (Member $20; Nonmember $24) can be purchased together for Member $29; Nonmember $37.
