Youth & Family

Swim Lessons

MIT Recreational Sports offers a wide range of instructional swimming opportunities for children beginning at 6 months of age through high school.  We have a comprehensive program to meet your needs.  This includes classes that give parents the opportunity to be in the water with their infant or toddler; our "Beavers" pre-school program; as well as the Levels 1-5 American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program.

If you are interested in learning in a group environment we have lesson sessions that are held mid-day on Sundays as well as during the week!  Our weekday program will be offered on Tuesday afternoons to meet your youngster's schedule.

If your child would prefer to learn with private instruction or your schedule doesn't coincide with our group classes, take advantage of our private lesson opportunities.   Private instruction allows you to schedule the lessons at times that meet your needs and gives your child very personalized attention.  Our instructor staff is very well qualified, as each one holds the American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification.

We look forward to seeing you and your child pool side!
