Exercise & Your Brain
How important is movement? We live in an age where most of our needs are just a click away. Technology is at our finger-tips for roughly 90 minutes a day by way of mobile devices, with apps that supply entertainment, transportation, banking, and so much more. Coupled with a heavy workload and little time for adventure, it’s easy to stay stationary. But science says, movement is essential.
Research shows that we can maintain healthier brain function with one simple action: exercise. In fact, our brains are made stronger and more responsive through frequent and healthy exercise regimes. How? The neurons in our brain respond to exercise much like our muscles, as they are broken down and become more resilient and stronger the more we move.

The proof is in the science, our brains respond well to exercise, and it doesn’t take a lengthy equation to make it work. It’s all about dedicating time to some sort of physical activity throughout your week. Do something you love or try something new.
