7 Guilt-Free (ish) Candies for Halloween
What exactly is the definition of a Guilt-free Candy?
Low calorie or low fat? Gluten-free or Paleo? Everyone has their own individual definition of a guilt-free indulgence, but for the sake of this list, we decided to go with the following: 7 candies that have varying definitions of ‘healthy,’ but all come in at under 200 calories. Why 200 calories? Well, we figure, that number is low enough to burn off with some extra gym time, but not so low that it hardly counts as a treat (who wants to eat just one mini candy bar, really).
Candy is usually synonymous with “sugar,” but not with these colorful little treats. Great for anyone trying to cut back on the sweet stuff, these are also fat-free, gluten-free and vegan. You can enjoy 50 of these colorful little snacks for 200 calories.
Gluten free, dairy-free, vegetarian, flavored with natural juice, 100% of your daily Vitamin C, organic, and non-GMO. The list of healthy points for these little treats is pretty long! And at 70 calories a pouch, you can indulge in more than two!
All sugar and some fake coloring, sure, but 60 calories per serving and fat-free. These little hard candies are also gluten free, low-fat and vegan. For 200 calories worth, you can indulge in 34 of them. Not too bad!
These traditional Halloween snacks are fat-free and gluten-free. For just about 200 calories worth, you can enjoy 2 oz. (or about 27 pieces).
No candy list is complete without some chocolate! These tiny mints have the bonus of being dairy-free, low-fat and gluten free as well. Enjoy 18 pieces with little guilt!
These colorful candy pops are gluten-free, low-fat, and vegan. Enjoy 3 of any flavor and you will come in at under 200 calories!
Organic, gluten-free, and made with real and simple ingredients (mostly), these peanut butter cups come in just a little high at 210 calories per package (2 regular sized cups). Promise your workout a few extra minutes and enjoy!
We hope you enjoy more treats than tricks this Halloween, and may they all be guilt-free (ish)!
